MASON CITY — Marian L. Engleman, 78, of 1627 S. Carolina Ave., died Tuesday (May 1, 2001) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Douglas Anderson of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today and until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Marian L. Engleman was born on June 10, 1922, in Nora Springs. She attended school in Nora Springs. She was united in marriage to Harry E. Engleman in 1940 in Hampton. He passed away in 1982.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She enjoyed dancing, reading and cooking. She had a love for people and life.

Her survivors include a sister, Ellen Bailey, of Mason City; a daughter, Linda Neibergall, of Mason City; a son, Gregory Engleman, of Astoria, Ore.; grandchildren, Debra Neibergall of Phoenix, Ariz., Rebecca Fry of Urbandale, Angela Fry of Naples, Fla., and Jeffrey Engleman of Astoria, Ore.; and six great-grandchildren.
