MASON CITY - Rose Ellen "Rae" Embretson, 58, died Friday (May 21, 1999) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East after a brief illness.

There will be no services. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Rose Ellen Embretson Memorial Fund, in care of Joseph Embretson, 518 17th St. S.E., Mason City, Iowa 50401.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph Embretson, Mason City; one brother, Joseph Amundson, Mason City; five daughters, Deborah Zor, Sheboygan, Wis., Cindy Qualley, New Hampton, Joey Cain, Cherokee, Carla Dahlquist, Riverside, Calif., and Terri Zipse, Ashland, Mass.; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Lorine Amundson, and one son, Joseph Embretson II.
