Funeral Service for Mrs. Eggers Will Be Held at 2 Wednesday

Funeral Services for Mrs. Herman Eggers, 501 Massachusetts avenue northwest, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Patterson funeral home and burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery. A Christian Science service will be read by Dennis Avise.

Mrs. Eggers, who was 66 years old, died at her home Monday afternoon after an illness that lasted since Christmas time. She had been confined to her bed for two weeks.

Surviving relatives are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Elmer Wynn, 534 Third street northeast; Mrs. Leo Halfpap, 826 Eighth street southeast; Marie and Leona, at home; four sons, Harley Eggers, State Center; Rollia Eggers, 540 Second street, northeast; Walter Eggers, 1517 Jefferson avenue northwest, and Clarence Eggers, Charles City; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Jargan (sic), Marshalltown; two sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Eggers was born May 19, 1877, in Germany, but came to the United States when 8 years old. She had lived in Mason City for the past eight years.
