“Death Claims Aged Resident.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Markin Will Be Held Tuesday Afternoon
Clear Lake, Oct. 24.—Another aged member of the community has passed on, thru the death of Mrs. Mary Markin, who died at her home on South Elm street about 9 o’clock Saturday evening, after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock and from the Bethlehem Lutheran church at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be made in the Clear Lake cemetery.” (Mason City Globe Gazette, Oct. 24, 1927, pg 6)
