MASON CITY -- Evelyn June Frank, 82, of Mason City, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at her home.

Per Evelyn's wishes, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Inurnment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, 1224 S. Washington Ave., Mason City.

Evelyn J. Frank was born, June 4, 1932, in Forest City, the daughter of George Fredrick and Nina (Zimmel) Hoffman. She grew up and attended school in Eagle Grove and Clear Lake.

Evelyn was united in marriage to William "Willy" Adam Frank on Aug. 29, 1949. She and Willy enjoyed dancing in their earlier years and became the busy parents of six children. She worked at Winnebago for many years as a supervisor.

Evelyn enjoyed shopping, playing cards, sewing, and traveling. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by four daughters, Mindy Smith and Penny Frank, both of Mason City, Jodi (Marty) Tagesen, Onalaska, Wisconsin, and Sandy Frank, Altoona; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty (George) Lunn, Clear Lake and Judy (Glen) Bisher, Fairbanks, California.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Terry and Kenny Frank; two sisters; and two brothers.
