October 27, 2014MASON CITY - Traci Jean Foster, 37, of Mason City, Iowa, died Thursday Oct. 23, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa, after battling congestive heart disease since the age of three weeks and has had several open heart surgeries.
Due to Traci’s wishes she will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.
Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 30, 2014, at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1405 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, Iowa.
Family suggests memorials in memory of Traci Jean Foster in care of North Iowa Community Credit Union 640 S. Federal Ave., Mason City, Iowa 50401 in lieu of flowers.
Traci was born Feb. 17, 1977, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Patrick and Cheryl (Miller) McCloskey Sr. She attended and graduated from Mason City High School.
She married Jason Rewerts June 15, 2010, and to this union three children were born. She later married Lionel Foster Jr. on March 4th, 2013, in Mason City, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, Lionel Foster Jr. of Mason City; two sons, Darrion and Dean Rewerts, of Mason City; stepson, Kenyon Morrison, San Antonio, Texas; mother, Cheryl Miller of Mason City; brother, Tommy McCloskey Jr., of Forest City; two sisters, Kerri Jo McCloskey of Mason City and Mindy McCloskey of Mason City; four stepchildren, Leah Foster, Latricia Foster, Katherine Foster, and Steven Krumm of Mason City; father-in-law, Lionel Foster Sr. of Mason City; maternal grandmother, Dorothea Miller of Liberty, Missouri; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her father Thomas McCloskey Sr.; daughter, Ashley Ann Rewerts; mother-in-law, Beverly Foster; paternal grandparents William and Margret McCloskey; and maternal grandfather, David L. Miller.
