Beverly Jean Foster was born July 9, 1941, in Mason City, to Charles and Evelyn (Petty) Jackson. She was a lifelong resident of Mason City. Beverly was employed in her earlier years at the Mason City Municipal Airport in the restaurant/food service area. She was the proud mother of seven children, grandmother of fifteen and great grandmother of four. She enjoyed family gatherings and all the busy activities that a large family brings. During her leisure time, Beverly found great fun and excitement spending time at a variety of sites playing bingo or trying her luck at the casino slots. She will be well remembered for her love of country music and listening to any songs performed by Buddy Holly or Elvis. Her love of peaceful moments was reflected in her collection of Cherubs.

Beverly's survivors include her husband, Lionel Foster, Sr., of Mason City; her daughters, Kandy Rockwell, Darlinda Foster, and Kristle Foster, all of Mason City; Dawn Briner and Danette Foster, both of Waterloo, and Dina Foster, of Des Moines; one son, Lionel Foster, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Des Moines; two sisters, Kathy Branstad, of Kensett and Amy Peterson, of Harcourt, Iowa. Many other relatives and friends will sadly miss Beverly.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Charleen Tate and one brother, Dean Jackson.
