Services are held for James Farrar

Funeral services for James D. Farrar, 82, who died at Brainerd, Minn., Thursday [August 23, 1933], were held at the Randall funeral home Monday afternoon, with the Rev. William Galbreth in charge. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery beside the body of his wife [Mary Frances (Conklin) Farrar], who died Dec. 28, 1928.

Mr. Farrar is survived by two sons, George A. Farrar, 21 Ninth street northwest, and William Farrar, Chicago. One daughter survives him; Mrs. Fern E. Gutknecht of Hudson, and one sister, Mrs. J.A. Parker, Chicago.

Masons were pallbearers at the funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. William Farrar and children, Irene, Adele, and Sybil of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Gutknecht and children, Marion, Frances, and Donald of Hudson, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gutknecht of Hudson, and Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Meller and son, John, Ft. Dodge, attended the funeral.
