W. J. WILHITE DIES AT HOME
Funeral Services Will Be Saturday Afternoon at Church.

Walter J. Wilhite, 61, farmer living about three miles east of Mason City in Portland township, died at his home Thursday forenoon. His health had been failing for the past six months.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Alliance Gospel tabernacle with the Rev. L. A. Perkins in charge. The body is at the Patterson Funeral home.

Mr. Wilhite is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Huffman, Mrs. J. E. O’Connor, both of Mason City, and Annabelle, at home; a brother, E. E. Wilhite, Emmetsburg; and a sister, Mrs. Ben Robinson, Carroll.

Mr. Wilhite had lived in Portland township the past 19 years. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, was a Sunday school superintendent and a member of the Modern Woodmen’s lodge.
