Matthew B. Lehman 419 1st. NE died shortly after
7:o'clock Wed. evening at the age of 92 years. Death occurred at the home of his daughter Mrs. Francis McCourt.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Rasmussen of this city who are in Chicago. Mrs.
Rasmussen is a daughter of the deceased man. The body will be at the McAuely Funeral Home until the funeral.

Solemn requiem high mass for the late Matthew B. Lehman 419 1st NE, who died Wed. will be said at the Holy Family church Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Matthew Lehman was born Jan. 19, 1830 in Germany, with his mother and brother Ed who survives him he came to America June 6, 1866. He came to Mason City in 1869 and in 1879 enlisted in the army to fight Indians at Omaha, Neb. He was discharged in 1875. On July 24, 1885 he was married at Mason City. His wife Teresa survives him.

Surviving children are: Mrs. Elof Swenson, Fergus Falls, Minn.; Mrs. Lyman Hand, Kadoka S. Dakota;
Miss Lucy Lehman, Mason City; Mrs. Jack Wilson, Bryant, S. Dakota; Mrs. William Andres, Rock Falls;
Miss Sophia Lehman; Miss Susie Lehman, Mason City and Joseph B. Lehman, Lyle Minn. Ed Lehman, a brother lives in Mason City. His parents are deceased. Mr. Lehman is a member of the G.A.R.
He had been bedfast for two years befoe he died.
