MASON CITY -- Alexander Richard Dunn, son of Thomas and Rita (Thompson) Dunn, 743 17th St. N.E., was stillborn Monday (April 29, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 302 Fifth St. S.E., with the Rev. Jim Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Memorials may be given to the Alexander Richard Dunn Memorial Fund.

Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Rita Dunn of Mason City; a sister, Meredith Dunn at home; a brother, Gabriel Dunn at home; paternal grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Dunn of Mesa, Ariz.; a maternal great-grandmother, Dolphie Horacek, of Yankton, S.D.; an aunt, Jane Morse of Mason City; an aunt, Helen Jackley of Fort Worth, Texas; an uncle, Larry Dunn of Mason City; an aunt, Mary Jayne Schmidt and husband, Randy, of New Port Richey, Fla., an aunt, Cecilia Thompson of Minneapolis, Minn.; an aunt, Ann Selva and her husband, Gary, of Eagan, Minn.; an uncle, Michael Thompson of Grundy Center; an aunt, Monica Winters and her husband, Ryan, of Hampton; an uncle, Anthony Thompson and his wife, Jeanne, of Iowa City; and many great uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Philip and Alice Thompson; his paternal grandmother, Betty A. Dunn; and an uncle, James Philip Thompson.
