August 31, 1996MASON CITY -- Josephine M. Dahl, 80, of 8000 Able St. N.E., Spring Lake, Minn., died Wednesday (Aug. 28, 1996) at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Calvary Alliance Church, 408 N. Delaware Ave., Mason City, with the Rev. Ralph Williams officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and one hour prior to services at the church.
Josephine M. Dahl was born March 30, 1916, the daughter of Wm. Jefferson and Frances Marie (Eberline) Billick in Eddyville.
Josephine moved with her family to Mason City when she was a young child.
Josephine attended Mason City schools and graduated from Mason City High School in 1934.
She married Vernon Dahl on Nov. 7, 1936, in Mason City.
Josephine worked for several years as a secretary for the North Iowa Dental Lab.
She had resided in Minneapolis for the last six years with her daughter.
She was a member of Calvary Alliance Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jan Littlefield and her husband, Don, of Spring Lake Park, Minn.; two grandsons, Brett Littlefield and his wife, Jill, of Lino Lake, Minn., and Travis Littlefield, Bethel College, St. Paul, Minn.; one brother, Elmer Billick and his wife, Carline, of Mason City; three sisters, Hazel Bea Billick of Mason City; Mary Lou Tully and her husband, Lee, of Santa Ana, Calif., and Donna Jean Waters, Garden Grove, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon, in 1988; two brothers; and one sister.
