Obituary ~ Dorothy A. Brunsvold

Dorothy A. Brunsvold, 90, died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center from complications due to pneumonia. Services will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday July 23 at Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines and further services at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Plymouth, IA at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Brunsvold was born in Mason City and lived there as well as a number of years in Colorado before moving to Des Moines in 1966. She was a secretary for the Iowa State Education Association in the library service department. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Dorothy is survived by son, Paul Brunsvold of Chicago, IL; daughter, Anna Price of Des Moines; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Westover Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines or donors choice.
