November 11, 2013MASON CITY -- Terry Lee Buss, 68, of Mason City, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. , with Pastor Jeni Bohls, St. James Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before services at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the Mason City Veterans Association.

Terry was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Mason City, the son of Ernest Lowell and Dorothy (Willford) Buss. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1963. Terry enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 1965 and served 20 years with two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, coin and stamp collecting, needlepoint, side seat driving, and Lego constructions.
Terry is survived by his wife, Betty of Mason City; sons, Jeffrey of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Jason of Mason City; sister, Cheryl (Gentry) Galbreath of Mason City; brother, Lowell (Diane) Buss of Victoria, Minn.; and grand-dog-ter, Inara.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and twin brother, Garry.
