Buehler Rites Held Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey (Romona Schnurstien) Buehler, 61, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Grace Methodist Church, Mason City, with the Rev. H. A. Stenberg oficiating.

She was the daughter of William and Caroline (Biermann) Schnurstien and she died Thursday, October 3 at a Mason City hospita.

Survivors include five children, Robert and John of Mason City, Lyle of Oelwein, Mrs. Paul (Judy) Rood of Mason City and Mrs. Les (Karen) Chenswold of West Union; ten grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Bartels of Sumner, Mrs. Ray (Pearl) Justin and Mrs. Art (Mabel) Gitch, both [of] Fredericksburg, Mrs. Harry (Viola) Hartman, Mrs. Gertrude Whitter, and a brother, William Schnurstien Jr., all of Venice, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Clifford and Leo.

[Interment was made at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]

NOTE: Her name has been spelled both as "Ramona" and "Romona", and her maiden name has been spelled "Schnurstein" and "Schmurstien".
