Roy Brown, 65, Succumbs in Hospital

Roy Orin Brown, 65, died Tuesday [August 20, 1957] at a Mason City hospital. He had lived 22 years in Mason City, making his home at 16 14th Place N.W., and was employed by Mier Wolf & Sons furniture store 18 years.

Mr. Brown was born Nov. 20, 1891, in Winner, S.D., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown.

Surviving are two daughters, Frances Roberts, Mason City, and Stella Brewes, Bellview, Neb.; a son, Sgt. Robert Brown, Camp Hood, Tex., and 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Major Funeral Home is in charge.

[Interment was made at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]
