Donna L. Bramley, 79, of Mason City died Saturday (December 1, 2012) at the I.O.O.F. Home in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (December 6, 2012) at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Ganz officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Donna's name to the Salvation Army or the I.O.O.F. Home in Mason City.

Donna Lee Richards was born on March 20, 1933 in Pierre, South Dakota, the daughter of Roger and Edith (Gurney) Richards. She attended various schools in her younger years before her family settled in Mason City. She graduated amongst the Mason City High School class of 1951.

As a young woman, Donna stayed busy working from the home and raising her two children. Following her children's high school graduation Donna entered the workforce in 1975.

On November 24, 1978 she was united in marriage to Ronald Bramley at Grace United Methodist Church in Mason City.

In their free time Donna and Ron enjoyed traveling; they loved taking their motorhome on cross country trips and even into Canada. Donna also liked camping, riding bicycles, golfing, and helping Ron remodel their home. Over the years she built countless wooden cars which showcased her talent and craftsmanship, and collected numerous "Garfield" pieces.

Donna will be remembered as a strong willed and independent woman who was always there for her family.

Those grateful in sharing in her life are her husband, Ronald, Mason City; her children, Donald (Patricia) Teeter, Jr., Garner, and Mary (Philip) Cox, Nevada, IA; grandchildren, Jeffrey Cox, Jenny (Josh) Salmonson, Randi (Shawn) Hesley, Myles Teeter, Justin (Shaundrea) Teeter, and Melissa Teeter; great grandchildren, Kathleen, Andrew, Samuel, Kaydence, and Parker; as well as her sisters, Norma Grenvik, Wahpeton, North Dakota, and Gary (Robert) Bilton, Lake City, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Smith.
