Stanley (Stan) Norman Bolding, age 75, of Loganville, GA, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2005. He was born January 11, 1930 in Olivia, Minnesota, to Clarence Cecil Bolding and Anna Henrietta Nelson Bolding [of Mason City IA].

Stan retired after over 38 years with International Harvester and was a retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant. He also ran a landscaping and painting business after retirement.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, his first wife, Virginia Blaine Bolding [Mason City IA] and two brothers, Howard and Verlyn Bolding.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, Loganville, GA; sons, Loren Bolding, Winder, GA, Lee Alcorn, Loganville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Sue & Doug Walter, Colorado Springs, CO; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Leroy & Karen Bolding, Plymouth, IA.

The funeral service is Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Eternal Hills Chapel, Pastor Matthew Henning officiating. Interment is at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA 770-972-3155.

Memorials may be made to Community of Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 Athens Hwy., Grayson, GA 30017.
