Mason City, la., (INS) — Funeral services were being arranged in Mason City today for Warner Blewett, 29, who reportedly hanged himself in the Iowa state penitentiary administration building [February 10, 1951]. Prison officials said Blewett's body was found Saturday. He was serving a life term for murder on a conviction in Mason City in July of 1939.
He had worked in the prison record office for the last 11 years. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Blewett, live in Mason City.
