Henry Billman, Pioneer Trucker, Dies Suddenly
Henry Billman, 84, a pioneer in the trucking business in North Iowa, died suddenly Friday night [June 28, 1957] at his home, 525 1/2 President S.W. He had lived in Mason City 36 years.

Mr. Billman was born Feb. 7, 1874, at Ottawa, Ill., son of George and Barbara Billman. He was married to Laura Goodling Nov. 15, 1900, at Ventura.

He operated the Billman Motor Express out of Mason City many years, and retired in 1937.

Surviving are he wife, Laura; two sons, Lester M. Billman, Burbank, Calif., and Bufort G. Billman, Mason City; and two daughters, Vesta Lindsay, Mason City, and Mrs. Morris (Frances) Edwards, Pensacola, Fla.; and four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Albert Billman, Lime Springs, and two sisters, Mrs. Kirk Stewart, Waterloo, and a twin sister, Mary Judd, Waterloo.

He was preceded in deathy by six brothers and a sister.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Major Funeral Home is in charge.

[Interment was made at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]
