CLEAR LAKE -- Dean Anderson, 68, of 1713 Main Ave., died Monday (Sept. 23, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, rural Joice, with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Dean Anderson was born Aug. 28, 1928, near Joice.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Lou Anderson of Clear Lake; four daughters, Laurie Brue of Lake Mills; Rachel Sorensen of Clear Lake; Roberta Howie of Garner, and Jennifer Tatum of Mason City; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Beryl Heltne of Peoria, Ariz., and Dorothy Hagen of Joice; and two brothers, Stanley Anderson of Lake Mills, and Wesley Anderson of Joice.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
