Linda M. Grossman, 44, of Brainerd [MN], formerly of Mason City, Iowa, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 1996) at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 2, 1996) at the Brenny Funeral Chapel, Baxter, Minn., with Father Stephen W. Solors officiating.

Memorials are preferred to the dialysis unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd.

Linda Grossman was born May 11, 1951, to William and Rose (Fishbeck) Lucking in St. Paul, Minn. She graduated from high school in St. Paul. Linda married James Grossman in St. Paul on March 30, 1974. They have lived in Brainerd for the past six years. Linda enjoyed working with ceramics, painting and spending time with her children.

Linda is survived by her husband, James, of 3160 Gould Gray Road, Brainerd, Minn. 56401; a son, Jason, of Brainerd; a daughter, Melissa, at home; two grandchildren, Tia and Abby; her parents William and Rose Lucking, of Newport, Minn.; three sisters, Joann Hulscher, Tacoma, Wash.; Kelly Anderson and Julie Sharratt, both of Cottage Grove, Minn.; and two brothers, Bill Lucking, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Steve Lucking, of Lino Lakes, Minn.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents.
