Mae Floy, 78, of Thornton, died Monday (Feb. 5, 1996) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul American Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Marlin Ingebretson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Grarup Funeral Home, Thornton.

Mae Floy was born May 1, 1918, at Adel.

Survivors include one daughter, Lori Floy-Harrington of New Hartford; four sons, Kenneth Smalley of Sheffield; Robert Schmale of Thornton; Vernon Schmale of Meservey and Henry Lee Schmale of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and four brothers.
