BECK, Willard G. (Bill), Died June 5, 2004 Born March 7, 1925 in Mason City, Iowa to Loren Nels Beck and Miriam Smith Beck. He served in the 13th Army Air Force (The Jungle Air Force) in the South Pacific from 1943 – 1945. After returning from the war, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his personal and professional life people looked to him for problem solving and advice. He had been an active member in his church and was a devoted husband and father who instilled his values by setting an example. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Remier Beck; sister, Marvyl Beck Patton; daughters, Diane Beck Patton and husband Cory, Ginny Beck Beatty and husband Harvey, Nancy Jean Beck; and grandchildren, Loren Elizabeth Beatty and Tyler George Beatty. A memorial service will be held on June 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Casas Adobes Congregational UCC, 6801 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the church. Arrangements by BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.
