Funeral Arrangements Are Not CompleteJames Kielty, 83, retired farmer, died at his home in Rockwell at 1:30 a.m. Friday [February 18, 1944], following an illness. He had been a resident of Rockwell for the past 7 years.
Mr. Kielty was born Dec. 11, 1869, at McGregor. He had farmed throughout his life.
Surviving are his wife, Christina, 3 sons, James of Comfrey, Minn., John of Yale, S. Dak., and Joe of Windom, Minn., and 3 daughters, Mrs. Rose Strum, San Gble, Cal., Mrs. Anna Callanan, Comfrey, Minn., and Mrs. Mary Heitland, Clear Lake, and a sister, Mrs. James McCarthy, Rockford.
He is also survived by 28 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 children, Frank, Raymond, Edward and Cecelia.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Patterson funeral home in charge.
[Interment was made at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Rockwell, Iowa.]
