Funeral at Rockwell for James Kelley

James J. Kelley, 70, longtime resident of Rockwell, died Sunday [November 24, 1963] at a Mason City hospital.

Requiem high Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockwell. Father Raymond S. Bohrer will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the church [Sacred Heart Catholic] cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Patterson-James-Murphy Chapel in Rockwell, where visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.

Mr. Kelley, a retired farmer, lived 58 years in the Rockwell community. He was born June 28, 1893, at Clearfield to Patrick and Mary McEvoy Kelley.

He is survived by a brother, John E. Kelley, Rockwell. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

[James was a World War I veteran.]
