Funeral services for the late William Harrison Hollister were held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Masonic Temple, E. K. Greene Officiating, the remains were taken to Rock Falls for burial.

Mr. Hollister died March 27 at 6:30 in the morning of stomach cancer after an illness of four months.

He had lived in Clear Lake for 43 years. Mr. Hollister was a carpenter by trade. William Harrison Hollister was born August 27, 1848, in Barry township, Orleans County, New York, and died at his home on East Main Street, his age being exactly 77 years, 7 months. He lived in New York until 1884 when he came to Clear Lake, where he was married to Elizabeth Mitchell Geiser August 18, 1887. To this union was born one son, Welcome.
