FRANCES DRAVES

Mrs. Frances M. Draves, 85, of 1000 5th Ave. S., Clear Lake, died (Aug. 25, 1985) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. The Rev. Keith Tomlinson will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Draves was born April 4, 1900, in Linden to Mr. and Mrs. William Dunbar and attended school in Jefferson. She married William L. Able and moved to Clear Lake in 1923. He passed away March 10, 1964. She married Clarence Draves at Betheseda Lutheran Church, Ames, in 1964.

Mrs. Draves worked at the Oluf T. Hansen Store for several years and worked at Boomhower Hardware, Mason City, for several years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, and belonged to Clear Lake Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence; two sons, Keith Able and Gerald Able, both of San Jose, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Nadene) Lauer, Mason City, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Zeiman, Tampa, Fla., and Virginia (Ginny) Baker, Clear Lake; one stepson, Roy Draves, Britt; one stepdaughter, Mrs. William (Phyllis) Pigman, Britt; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Olson, San Jose, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and five step-great grandchildren.

Memorials should be given to the Frances M. Draves Memorial Fund.

Organist for the service is Louise Folkman and Susan Micklick will sing.

Pallbearers are: Tom Minert, Mike Greenan, Roy Draves, Robert Zeiman, Vincent Lauer and William Pigman.
