DR. HENDERSON DIES IN ORE.

Dr. John J. Henderson, 78, 1005 5th Ave. S. died Thursday Nov. 19, at Portland, Ore., where he was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Dewall (Nelda Marie) Hildreth and family.

He had been affiliated with Chappell Clinic from 1946 until his retirement in April.

Dr. Henderson was born March 14, 1892, in Wisconsin, and was graduated from the Kirksville (Mo,) School of Osteopathy. He was married to Neda Nelda Sare Aug. 12, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo. They lived in Toledo following his graduation from the Kirksville school, before moving to Clear Lake in 1946. Mrs. Henderson preceded him in death in 1968.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wilcox Funeral Home with the Rev. Worthie Usher, pastor of United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

D. Henderson is survived by his daughter and three grandchildren.
