LAURETTA HENDERSON

Lauretta E. Henderson, 85, 122 7th Ave. N., Clear Lake, died Sunday (Feb. 9, 1986) at a Garner nursing home.

Rites of Christian burial included the funeral mass on Tuesday evening at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The Rev. James Duster officiated. A private family burial will be held Wednesday at Clear Lake Cemetery.

Lauretta Henderson, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Welter) Leibold, was born March 12, 1900 at McGregor. She attended St. Joseph’s schools in Mason City and Hamilton Business College. She was a secretary at Lehigh Cement Co. for several years and the Bayside Amusement Park in Clear Lake.

She has been a Clear Lake resident for 45 years. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the St. Francis Circle at the church.

The family requests memorials be given to St. Patrick’s Charity Fund.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Jeannine) Stork; four grandchildren, Master Sgt. Jay Stork, Offutt AFB, Omaha, Neb., Jon Stork, Wyoming Minn., Kevin Stork, Clinton, Tenn., and Shannon Nelson, No. St. Paul, Minn.; six great-grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Shane, Michael Stork and Wesley and Sadie Nelson.

She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Sam Nelson.

Pallbearers were Dick Hughes, Bob Linahon, David Theiss, Ralph Secory, Bob Cooley and Bill Martin. Maurice Buckley and Bob Clark were ushers.

The Rev. Mr. Leo Stattelman and Rev. John Ayers assisted Rev. Mr. James Duster with the service.
