OBITUARY

The funeral of the late D. A. McGrady, formerly of Alden, Minn., was held from the residence of Mrs. Bessie Howard, Sunday afternoon, March 12th, conducted by Dr. J. Lewis Gillies of the Methodist church. Interment was in the Clear Lake cemetery.

Deceased was born in Clayton county, Iowa, April 15, 1854. In 1870 he came with his parents to Cerro Gordo county. From the time of his marriage in 1884 he made his home at or near Alden, Minn. His death occurred at Albert Lea, Minn., from heart failure, March 9, 1916.

He is survived by two brothers, C.H. and J.W. McGrady, three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Howard, Mrs. Sarah Mohr, and Lucie Colby, and five nephews and two nieces.
