ALFRED SMITH

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Alfred W. Smith, 64, Clear Lake, who died Saturday at a Mason City hospital, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.

Visitation will be until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and prior to church services at the Osthus-James Funeral Home, Clear Lake. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Smith, district clerk at the Northern Natural Gas Co., Ventura, is survived by his wife, Neva, Clear Lake; two sons, Robert, San Francisco, Calif.; Richard, Flanders, N.J.; one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Edith) Peters, Ogden; one brother, Simpson, Des Moines, and his mother, Mrs. Alex (Ada) Smith, Ogden.

The family prefers any memorial gifts be to Zion Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
