MRS. D. WATTS DIES AT HOME
RITES AT J.G. LINDON HOME SUNDAY, 2:30

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. Daniel Watts, 86, died Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.G. Lindon, 312 N. 4th street, following a long period of failing health.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindon home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday with the Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, Methodist pastor, officiating. Ward's funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery.

Mrs. Watts was born Nellie Brayton, daughter of Franklin and Hannah Brayton, in Columbus county, Wis., July 19, 1862. She was married to Mr. Watts July 14, 1879, and they lived on farms near Clear Lake and Fertile many years. Mr. Watts died Oct. 27, 1907. Mrs. Watts moved to Clear Lake to live about 40 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by a son, Ernest P. Watts, who died June 25, 1931.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lindon, and by 6 grandchildren, Dick Watts, St. Paul, Miss Kathleen Watts, Chicago; Mrs. Annette Kuba, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Rosemary Smith, Longview, Wash.; Bobby Watts, Elmo, Minn., and Billy Watts, now in service and stationed in Texas, and several great-grandchildren.
