LOU L. HASS

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Lou L. Hass, 86, of 101 N. Shore Drive, Clear Lake, will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. She died Saturday (Oct. 30, 1982) at home.

Mrs. Hass was born in 1896 in Dows. She served on the rationing board during World War II. She moved to Clear Lake in 1928 and worked as a bookkeeper and manager at Wagner Motors, Clear Lake. Mrs. Hass later operated a small loan business and worked as an insurance agent. She also ran an income tax and bookkeeping service. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Clear Lake.

Dr. Lyle Lieder of the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Robert Hass, San Diego, Calif., and James Joseph Hass, San Francisco, Calif.; one grandchild; one stepdaughter, Mrs. George (Martha) Gillespie, Palo Alto, Calif.; and one stepson, Karl F. Hass Jr., Clearwater, Fla.
