PLAN RITES FOR MRS. LEIBOLD
SERVICES TUESDAY, ST. PATRICK’S, 9 A.M.

CLEAR LAKE – Requiem high mass will be sung at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock for Mrs. John Leibold, 70, who died at her home, 120 7th Avenue N., Saturday evening. The Rev. J.J. Buzynski, pastor, will be celebrant and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Ward’s funeral home is in charge. The rosary was to be said at the funeral home Monday evening at 8.

Mrs. Leibold was born Elizabeth Welter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Welter, at Ossian Dec. 13, 1880, and was married to Mr. Leibold July 25, 1898, at Prairie du Chien, Wis., where they lived for a short time before moving to McGregor. In 1906 they moved to Mason City and 35 years later to the present home in Clear Lake.

Mrs. Leibold was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. In Mason City she was a member of the Coterie and Priscilla clubs and, in 1923-24, president of the Mason City unit of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Leibold is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lauretta Henderson; a granddaughter, Patrick D. Stork, and a great-grandson, Jay Patrick Stork, all of Clear Lake; 4 sisters, Mrs. Cyrilla Newman, Chicago; Mrs. Clemintine Wolfe, Lansing; Mrs. Katherine Sarazin, Dubuque, and Mrs. Mary Coleman, Vallejo, Cal., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Leibold suffered a stroke Aug. 3 and had grown progressively worse since.

Transcriber's Note - Elizabeth Leibold was born December 13, 1880, died 1951 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section F Row 2.
