LOWELL SANQUIST

CLEAR LAKE – Lowell Sanquist, 52, of Wichita, Kan., died Thursday (Sept. 5, 1985) in a Wichita hospital. Mr. Sanquist was a former resident of Clear Lake and Mason City.

Funeral services are incomplete in Wichita, Kan.

Mr. Sanquist was born April 12, 1933, in Forest City to Louis and Nina Sanquist. A 1952 graduate of Ventura High School, he served two years in Alaska with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Sanquist was a deputy sheriff in Cerro Gordo County for five years. In 1961 he began employment with the Federal Aviation Administration. His work with the FAA took him to several locations across the United States.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Sherri, at home, and Susan Brown, Goddard, Kan.; one grandson, Anthony Brown, Goddard, Kan.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sanquist, Clear Lake; and one sister, Mrs. Glen (Dorothy) Dietrich, Clear Lake.
