THEOLINE S. DAMMEN

Memorial services for Mrs. Maynard (Theoline S.) Dammen, 80, of Fallbrook, Calif., formerly of Mason City, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura. The Rev. Daird Korth officiated.

Family graveside services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Mrs. Dammen died Friday (March 23, 1984) in Escondido, Calif.

Mrs. Dammen was born Sept. 2, 1903 near Deer Creek in Worth County to Alck and Mary J. (Johnson) Anderson. She graduated from school in Northwood and married Maynard Dammen on March 31, 1923 in Albert Lea, Minn. They lived in Oakland, Minn., and then to Ventura where they lived for 25 years and Mr. Dammen worked as a buttermaker. They also lived in Glenville and Mansfield, Minn., and in 1964 moved to Modesto, Calif., where Mr. Dammen died in 1981. Mrs. Dammen moved to Mason City and later moved to Fallbrook, Calif., to live with her son. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth, Fallbrook, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Amy Petersen, Mason City, and Mrs. Mable Weed, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Honorary pallbearers were Donald Dammen, Calvin Dammen, Robert Dammen, Richard Swensen, Cliff Larson and Robert Wolfram.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, and two brothers, Alman Anderson and Sam Anderson, and one sister, Elsie Kittleson.
