MRS. W. YOHN DIES AT HOME
PLANS FOR FUNERAL INCOMPLETE; 3 SONS, 4 DAUGHTERS SURVIVE

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. William Yohn, 77, died at her home on Sunny street Tuesday afternoon following a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are not yet complete. The body is at Williams’ funeral home.

Winnie Nelson was born March 23, 1864, at Lake Mills, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Beach Nelson. When a small child she moved with her parents to Butler county where she was married to Mr. Yohn in 1884. The couple lived on farms in Butler and Hancock county until 1910 when they moved to Clear Lake where Mr. Yohn died in 1826.

Mrs. Yohn is survived by three sons, Oscar, Clear Lake, and Howard and Elmer, Garner; four daughters, Mrs. Leslie Thomas, Sheffield; Mrs. Howard Cash, Clear Lake; Mrs. Delbert Smith, Sioux Falls, S. Dak., and Mrs. Roy Kimball, South Bend, Ind., 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Yohn was a member of the Methodist church and of the W.R.C., taking an active part in their work so long as she was able. She had been in failing health for some time but became seriously ill only Sunday evening.
