T. (RALPH) VAN DUZER DIES AT 79

T. R. (Ralph) Van Duzer, 79, of 245 Parkridge Drive, died Thursday evening at a Mason City nursing home. He was born Oct. 8, 1888 at Menlo, to Frank and Sarah (Elliott) Van Duzer.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wesley Mehodist Church with the Rev. J. L. DeGarmo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Van Duzer was married to Ethel Mount on Dec. 4, 1913 at Stuart. They lived on a farm near Menlo for many years, moving to Mason City in 1958. Survivors include his wife, Ethel B. Van Duzer, Mason City; one daughter, Miss Marjory Van Duzer, Mason City; two sons, G. Kenneth Van Duzer, Clear Lake, and C. Wayne Van Duzer, Sioux City, and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and the Senior Men’s Division of the Mason City Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Van Duzer was active in Cub Scout work in Mason City.

Visitation will be until noon Saturday at the Major-Erickson Funeral Home.
