RITES HELD FOR ORVILLE E. FORD

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Wilcox Funeral Home for Orville E. Ford, 85, who died Sept. 8 in a local nursing home following a long illness.

Dr. John DeLong, pastor of the Methodist Church officiated with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Orville E. Ford was born July 5, 1882, in Adair County, the son of Frank and Jenny (Barker) Ford.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Pearl, also a patient in a local nursing home and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Rex, and a daughter, Cleone Zimmer.

Pallbearers selected were Marvin Prilipp, James Ransom Jr., Glenn Westover and Dale Newell. Soloist was Mrs. Louis Treloar and organist, Mrs. Harry Mason.
