MRS. JOHN BEALS PASSES AWAY SUNDAY

Mrs. John M. (Luella) F. Beals, 93, 501 South Kentucky, Mason City died Sunday at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Rev. Keith L. Scott, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Beals came to Mason City from Clear Lake in 1936 and have lived there ever since.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Ada) Zirbel, Arcadia, Calif., Mrs. Virgil (Dorothy) Mayne, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Gus (Phyllis) Ruhnke, Jr., Mason City; one son, Melvin Beals, Riverside, Calif.; fifteen grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one half sister and two half brothers.
