R. Solum rites set for Tuesday

Funeral services for Richard Solumn, 52, former Mason City resident who died Thursday in Milwaukee, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Patterson-James Chapel. The Rev. Lavern Hanson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Mr. Solum was born June 5, 1913, at Monango, N. D., son of Carl W. and Sarah (Tryttin) Solum. Surviving are three brothers, Carl Solum, Rapid City, S. D.; Palmer Solum, Armstrong; and Chester Solum, Alden, Minn., and a sister, Sybil Flinch, Mankato, Kan.

Military rites will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
