Mrs. Paul A. Rasmusson rites Monday

Mrs. Paul A. (Ruth Ione) Rasmusson, 64, died Friday morning at a Mason City hospital following a heart attack. She had been a lifetime resident of the community and made her home at 2305 20th SW.

Mrs. Rasmusson was born Dec. 20, 1898, at Sheffield, daughter of James M. and Daisy (Michaels) Schollian. She was married to Paul Andrew Rasmusson, Dec. 20, 1923, at Sheffield. He is a retired employe (sic) of Jacob E. Decker and Sons packing plant.

Suviving are her husband; a son, Chauncey (Wendell) Rasmusson, Mason City; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Lloyd, Mason City, and Mrs. Ronald (Anna Mae) Kliven, Rockford, Ill., and 14 grandchildren.

A sister, Mrs. Oscar (Ethel) Hay, San Diego, Calif., and a brother, Leo Schollian, Dubuque, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter and brother.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Stanley L. Carlsen will officiate. Burial will be in the Chapin Cemetery. Visitation at the McAuley-Scanlan-Mckasson Funeral Home has been set until the time of services.
