Mrs. Austin, 34, succumbs in hospital

Marcella Lillian Austin, 34, wife of Kenneth D. Austin, 1730 Hampton S.E., died Sunday at a Mason City hospital. She had lived in Mason City 15 years.

Mrs. Austin was born Aug.7, 1925, at Buffalo Center, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Helin. She was married to Kenneth D. Austin Nov. 22, 1945, at Buffalo Center. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Mason City and St. Patrick's Circle of Holy Family Guild.

Surviving are her husband, parents, two daughters, Janice Lee and Jo Ann Austin, and two sons, Paul David and Michael Duane Austin, all at home.

Two brothers, Marion Helin, Buffalo Center, and John Helin, Forest City; and seven sisters, Mrs. Evlon (Mary) Goranson, Forest City; Mrs. Darley (Catherie) Goranson, Buffalo Center; Mrs. Russell (Eunice) Michaelson, Verndale, Minn.; Mrs. Leland (Rita) Mikkelsen, San Jose Calif.; Mrs. James (Agnes) Otis, Forest City; Mrs. Thomas (Leona) Rafferty and Mrs. John (Patricia) Sheehy, both of Mason City, also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Visitaion is at th Patterson-James Chapel from Tuesday noon until Thursday morning.
