Service on Saturday for Mrs. Thornsen

Funeral services for Mrs. Aska (Thea) Lien Thorsen, 65, who died suddenly at her home, 858 2nd N. E., early Thursday morning, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McAuley and Son chapel with Sherman Yelland, reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, officiating. Burial will be at Concordia cemetery near Joice.

Mrs. Thorsen was born Dec. 3, 1884, at Aadals-Verk, Norway. In 1903 she came to the United States to make her home with a siter at Lake Mills. She lived for a short time at Winnebago, Minn., before coming t Mason City in 1908. She was married to Aslak Thorsen June 2, 1923, in Mason City. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist.

Suvivors include 2 sons, Willard and Leonard Thorsen of Minneapolis; 2 sisters, Mrs. Marthine Lornen, Mason City, and Mrs. Elsie Dixon, Minneapolis, and a brother, Knut Lien, Lake Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 27, 1942, in Mason City, and by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
