W. Flansburg funeral set for Wednesday

Walter Flansburg, 89, died Monday morning at the IOOF Home. He had lived there since May 1950, when he came from Mechanicsville.

He was born March 16, 1872, at Clarence, son of Walter and Mary (Farnam) Flansburg. There are no surviving relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Chapel. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Mason City. The McAuley-Scanlan-Peterson Funeral Home is in charge.

W. Flansburg funeral held

Funeral services for Walter Flansburg, 89, who died Monday, were held at the IOOF Chapel. Tom Norris officiated.

Odd Fellow rites were conducted at the chapel by George Schnoor, noble grand, and Edward Garrett, chaplain. Anna Sears was pianist.

Pallbearers were Ralph Sperry, Howard D. Nelson, A. C. Clemens and Arthur Geissmar. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery. The McAuley-Scanlan-Peterson Funeral Home was in charge.
