Lyle C. Bates funeral Friday

Funeral services for Lyle C. Bates, 55, lifelong resident of Burchinal who died Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pattterson-James Mason City Chapel. The Rev. LeRoy Bauman, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Military rites will be conducted at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Burchinal.

[Lyle served as a Tec5 with the U.S. Army during World War II.]
