Henry Carlson Dies at I.O.O.F. Home

Henry Carlson, 89, died Friday at 11 a.m. at the I. O. O. F. home following a short illness. He was born Oct. 10, 1860, in Sweden and came to the United States as a child with his parents, settling near Luther, Iowa.

Mr. Carlson continued his residence at Luther until April 17, 1939, when he entered the I. O. O. F. home here. He was a member of Luther lodge No. 677, I. O. O. F. All his survivors live in Sweden.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The McAuley and Son funeral home in charge.

Henry Carlson Rites Conducted at Chapel of I.O.O.F. Home

Funeral services for Henry Carlson, 89, who died Friday at the I. O. O. F. home, were held Monday afternoon at the I. O. O. F. chapel, with the Rev. F. W. Wendland, pastor of the Grace Evangelical church, officiating. Interment was at I. O. O. F. cemetery. The McAuley and Son funeral home in charge.
