Cafferty rites to be held Saturday

Funeral services for Lawrence P. Cafferty, 74, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the IOOF Home Chapel. The Rev. Ralph F. Johnson, pastor of the 1st Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the IOOF Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Cafferty was born at Williamsburg June 22,1881, the son of John S. and Martha Cafferty. he had been a member of Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodges for 50 years.

Mr. Cafferty, formerly of Marengo, died at the home Wednesday evening.

Cafferty Funeral Held by IOOF

Funeral services for Lawrence P. Cafferty, 74, were held Saturday at the IOOF Home Chapel. The Rev. Ralph F. Johnson, pastor of First Baptist Church officiated.

Burial rites were conducted in the IOOF Memorial Cemetery by IOOF Lodge 224. Gilbert Randall was acting noble grand and Leo George, chaplain. Pallbearers were Oscar Pedersen, Edwin Beneke, George and Randall.

Mr. Cafferty died Wednesday evening at the IOOF Home.
