DEATH OF A BABY BOY

A sweet little life of promise came to an untimely end early Wednesday morning when Glenn Wesley, the two month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Holt, answered the death angel’s summons at the family home following a short illness. Brief services were held from the residence Thursday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Sinden officiating and burial was made in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Thus over a happy home the shadow of a little grave has fallen; and as mother has said, it is wonderful how long a shadow a little grave can throw.

This beautiful baby life was so precious, so frought with blessing to his parents that he seemed a flower of paradise permitted to bloom for a brief season by their side, then recalled to its nature skies, leaving the earth road to them dark and lonely indeed.

Transcriber’s Note – Glenn Wesley Holt died September 11, 1919 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section A Row 11
